Here are a few tips to help your service go smoothly:

Call for an appointment.  Your technician really does try to stay on schedule and appointments help him coordinate his work load.

Get your vehicle into the shop early (by 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. at the latest) if you hope to get it out the same day.

Bring along a written list of the things you want serviced or repaired.  Include a contact number in case questions arise or additional problems are discovered.

On your list, be as specific as possible about the symptoms you’ve experienced. This is of great use to the technicians. (What is happening, when it happens, where the trouble seems to be located.)

Call to make sure that your vehicle is ready before you come to pick it up. Don't expect to speak with the technician for routine questions such as this.  The techs can't service your vehicle and chat on the phone.
